Jaridy Fabre ’17

A native of Bronx, N.Y., Jaridy Fabre ’17 returned to school just after giving birth to her second child, in order to pursue her dream of becoming a speech-language pathologist. Determined and committed, she decided on Iona’s graduate program for speech because of its emphasis on the latest available researched-based strategies and techniques.

Jesse Koch ’18

Now a post-graduate volunteer through the Franciscan Volunteer Ministry, Jesse Koch ’18 is living in Silver Spring, Md., where he works on various ministries through Saint Camillus Parish. Exposure to the vocation of the Christian Brothers and the lifetime work of Blessed Edmund Rice has inspired him to volunteer for Meals on Wheels, teach Sunday school, participate in prison visitations and much more.

A humanitarian who is passionate about actively serving others around the world, Allyson Kuppelmeyer ’20, a speech pathology major from Farmingdale, N.Y., enriches that commitment through her engagement in a variety of service-oriented clubs and organizations at Iona. She holds the philanthropy chair position for her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma; is a Gael Guide for Iona’s Office of Admissions; is vice president of Colleges Against Cancer; and sits on the executive board of the Iona College Dance team.
