Br. Kenneth Chapman Paintings Showcased at National Eucharistic Congress Exhibition

Christian Brother Kenneth Chapman, CFC, a former longtime professor and artist-in-residence at Iona University, had his artwork featured at the prestigious National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis this past July, attracting tens of thousands of visitors.

Selected from among 650 entries, Br. Chapman’s paintings offer profound reflections on spirituality and the cosmos. The exhibition, titled “In Memory of Me,” included several of his notable works, such as “Your Heavenly Word Came Down” and “Last Supper,” alongside pieces from sacred artists across
the nation.

Br. Chapman’s artwork represents a lifetime of contemplative thought and artistic expression. As a former artist-in-residence at Iona, many of his paintings are displayed throughout the New Rochelle campus and are occasionally showcased in exhibits at the Br. Kenneth Chapman Gallery within the JoAnn Mazzella Murphy ’98H Arts Center on North Avenue.
