Students traveled to Morgan Stanley global headquarters in Times Square to lead a panel discussion and participate in an exciting networking event as part of The Equity Collective initiative, created to empower the next generation of diverse leaders in finance.
Spearheaded by Iona alumnus Carlos Muñoz ’10MBA, executive director at Morgan Stanley, The Equity Collective is comprised of over two dozen members from leading financial organizations, including Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, PIMCO, NY Life and American Century Investments.
Over the course of the academic year, senior executives from these top firms have come to Iona to lead workshops on resumé-building, interviewing skills, networking and more. The Equity Collective kicked off its second year at Iona this fall semester.
“Iona provided me with a wealth of knowledge, experiences and connections,” said Muñoz. “Our goal is to help create and provide current students with resources to help empower them as they navigate their career journey.”
