Alumnus Makes Gift to Support Work of Kathleen Deignan, CND

Christopher O’Connor ’89, ’92MBA, ’94PMC, made a gift to honor one of his most respected Iona professors, Kathleen Deignan, CND, Ph.D. The investment established the Sister Kathleen Deignan Institute for Earth and Spirit at Iona College. The mission of the institute is to foster a commitment to protecting the earth through teachings from religion, environmental science and justice studies.
